"ZaiZai goes to Japan to pitch for a baseball game, vies with the “Ah-Min” wave"

Tokyo, JAPAN: Taiwanese pop singer Vic Chou reacts after throwing out the first ball at the game between Japanese Nippon Ham Fighters and Taiwanese La New Bears at the Konami Cup Asia Series 2006 baseball tournament at the Tokyo Dome, 10 November 2006.

Although ZaiZai's performance wasnt up to par, the fans still supported their idol by giving out wild screams and cheers. ZaiZai expressed that he usually doesnt play or practices baseball, so for this event he went to take a few lessons.
His outfit was in white and blue, and on the back of his jersey is read "Vic," and the jersey number read "F4." No matter how goodlooking or sharped he looked on the field, the first throw ZaiZai did was weak, but the fans didnt care and contnued to cheer.

And these are Note by laiou@vicpower.net

*Note 1: As laiou said, ZaiZai is the first artist (not just idol actors) from Taiwan invited by TBS; he is the first artist from Taiwan to kick off a professional baseball game; he is also the first artist from Taiwan to be at the Tokyo Dome.

*Note 2: Wang Jian Ming a.k.a.Chien-Ming Wang (nicknamed “Ah-Min”) is a very popular baseball player from Taiwan who is currently playing for the New York Yankees.

Taiwan’s “Ah-Min” is coming, and Japanese film buffs and sports fans are all eyes waiting for him to pitch. But this “Ah-Min” is not Wang Jian Min, but “ZaiZai” Zhou Yu Min. Taiwan’s LA New Bears and Japan’s Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters will be pitted against each other the day after tomorrow in the 2006 KONAMI CUP ASIA SERIES, and by invitation of Japanese TV station TBS, ZaiZai will be the special guest at the opening ceremony of the game to be held at the Tokyo Dome, the first among Taiwan’s idol actors.
